Explainer: Invo Platforms

Founded in 2012, Invo Solutions set out with a single task: Design, build, and deploy the world’s first-ever in-branch video banking solution. Since then, Invo has expanded its product offerings to include not only video solutions but also à la carte options such as chatbots, SMS texting, and appointment scheduling. All of these products and features are in some way connected to our three platforms: In-branch, web, and mobile. Here’s a brief explainer about these platforms.

In-Branch: The Original Recipe

Invo Solutions was originally just a project. Seeing a drop in credit union branch traffic and an increase in wait times at BluCurrent Credit Union, Invo staff looked to create a video banking solution for BluCurrent’s branches. The result was Invo’s in-branch solution, which centers around Invo Kiosks. These kiosks include a monitor and webcam, along with a document camera and signature pad. This simulates a face-to-face interaction with an agent while allowing financial institutions to centralize their employees.

In-branch deployments can also include Invo Concierge, a tablet-based lobby management tool that makes lobbies more efficient while greeting each customer with a smiling face. Financial institutions can also utilize Invo Booking to schedule in-branch appointments and co-browsing in video banking calls.

Web

Shortly after launching the first-ever in-branch solution, Invo set out to create a web-based solution. Invo Web allows customers to jump on a video banking call with a live agent from the comfort of their own home or anywhere they have internet access. Customers can complete complex financial transactions from the web platform, just as they can in-branch, by submitting documents online and using electronic signature technology.

Web deployments can also include Invo Chat, an intent-driven chatbot created specifically for banks and credit unions. Users on a financial institution’s website can begin a session with a chatbot and ultimately escalate to a live chat with an agent or even jump into a live video call, all in the same session.

Mobile

With Invo’s third platform, Invo Mobile, customers can access a live video call from their mobile device as well, without losing any functionality. Customers can submit documents by taking a photo with their phone, as well as sign documents with electronic signature technology, all from a video call that closely resembles a simple FaceTime.
